Apéros à l'anglais
Anita spent some time in England recently, and came back with some munchies that are hitherto unknown in France (at least to me). I look forward to the expansion of French cuisine out here in the sticks, to incorporate such delicacies.
I have also noted that honest-to-God ordinary flavours seem to be missing. You can't have "Cheese & Onion", it has to be "Mature artisanal cheddar and shallots marinaded in organic vinegar" or something.
Egad. They look disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI was in M&S the other day and the trouble I had finding plain ordinary crisps as opposed to various poncey flavours (Prosecco crisps, anybody?)...
