Why bother trying to make it look like a traditional wine bottle? Some very expensive French water is in ordinary plastic bottles. Just go for it and proclaim the benefits. After all it is American so what have they got to lose? The screw cap was accepted. And MacDonalds.
Not disagreeing with you, Doon. Plus, if you knock one over when drunk, it doesn't smash, and there's still some hope that there's some wine remaining.
Banrock Station do flat plastic bottles, and the joy is, that you can get two in the space needed for one glass bottle!
It's not a bad Aussie Chardonnay either - but there again, I never subscribed to the boring mantra of 'ABC', (anything but Chardonnay), I just like it!
