Rainy day
The rain makes for bleak viewing from the conservatory, but in the corner there is a little Kalanchoe flowering, reminding me of the generosity of the daughter of one of our guests, who gave it to us.
That plant is like a little drop of sunshine on an otherwise dull day. Mind you, that's still a nice view even in the rain, must be lovely come spring and summer. Much love Lia xx
By a beautiful river valley in North-West France. This blog is about the day-to-day events in running a group gîte in Mayenne. There's a lot of gardening, maintenance, but, I hope, a lot of fun too.

Nice view
I'll be back blogging soon - other stuff getting in the way
That is an outstanding view. So peaceful.
very nice view... is it wrong of me to take pleasure in the fact that it is raining somewhere else and not here in rainy basque country?!
I actually love rain and all the coziness it evokes. The plant is lovely indeed.
