Swallowtail
When I took and planted my Buddleja cuttings, I was hoping for a crop of butterflies. Well this fellow is one of many that arrived today, and I managed to get some snaps.
We call them flutterbys in this house as well, that's so funny. I have never seen a swallowtail before, what a beautiful creature. Buddleja is just so wonderful for attracting flutterbys. Lovely photos. Much love, Lia xx
By a beautiful river valley in North-West France. This blog is about the day-to-day events in running a group gîte in Mayenne. There's a lot of gardening, maintenance, but, I hope, a lot of fun too.

I can feel the movement in these photos. Lovely!
Beautiful! Fabulous photos, and a wonderful butterfly... I call them flutterbys, a much more appropriate name don't you think?
